Major Gifts

The University of Winnipeg Foundation (UWF) Major Gift’s department is dedicated to securing and facilitating major gifts to the University of Winnipeg (UWinnipeg). We also play a role in the building and maintaining of relationships with UWinnipeg prospects and donors, igniting their interest in UWinnipeg priorities, and keeping them engaged and connected to UWinnipeg Faculties, programs, projects and students. This is implemented with direction from Dr. Todd Mondor, UWinnipeg President, Javier Schwersensky, UWF President and CEO, and the UWF Board of Directors.

Making a financial contribution, either as a one-time gift or multi-year pledge, can make a lasting impact at the institution. The UWF Major Gifts team specializes in connecting an interested donor to a department, faculty member, or priority area at the University that matches their philanthropic interests.

Together we can develop a plan that is both meaningful to you and beneficial to the University as your gift is vital to ensuring we meet the academic needs of current and future generations. We have many options for acknowledging donors who provide major gifts such as a recognition plaque or naming opportunity. We look forward to working with you!
