The University of Winnipeg Foundation Holiday Office Closure: Dec. 23 to Jan. 3 Blog

On behalf of our team at the University of Winnipeg Foundation, we would like to thank you for your support this year!

Please note that our offices will be closed for the winter break from Monday, December 23, to Friday, January, 3. Our office will re-open Monday, January 6, 2025.

We will be intermittingly checking foundation@uwinnipeg.ca, our general office email account. We will also occasionally check messages on (204) 786-9995, our main office phone line, during our holiday closure.

Any donations mailed to us before December 31 will still be eligible for a 2024 tax receipt.

The University of Winnipeg Foundation Finance department is reviewing donations to determine eligibility in alignment with the Government of Canada’s decision to amend the Income Tax Act to extend the deadline for making donations eligible for tax support in the 2024 tax year, until February 28, 2025.
