The University of Winnipeg: Our History now on YouTube Blog

"our history" slide

The University of Winnipeg Foundation (UWF) has been working for over 21 years to support students, programs, and research at The University of Winnipeg. Our journey is one we have been keen to share with those who have helped us along the way.

To celebrate more than two decades of fundraising success, we have created a video highlighting the UWF’s history to share with our community. From our humble beginnings in Wesley Hall, to our latest achievements as stewards of a nearly $100 million endowment fund, this milestone is one we owe to the thousands of donors, and dedicated faculty and staff who give each and every year to our organization.

The University of Winnipeg Foundation: Our History is now available on YouTube. Each chapter of our history is narrated by individuals who played instrumental roles in creating and leading the UWF. These chapters include Launching the UWF, Supporting the Collegiate, The First Capital Campaign, Building the Endowment, Working Together with UWinnipeg, The Role of the UWF Board, and Looking to the Future.

We hope you enjoy learning about the UWF and the successes that your generosity has helped create over the years!

Sincerely,

The University of Winnipeg Foundation team
